The Ninth National Workers’ Field Event of power engineers in Bulgaria, organized by Bulgarian Workers’ Federation “Sport and Health” and the National Federation of Power engineers, was held from September 14th to September 18th, 2011, in St. St. Constantine and Helena resort. More than 890 persons from 20 organizations participated in the field event and competed in 17 kinds of sports: mini football, volleyball, beach volleyball, table tennis, chess, bridge, tennis, darts, tug of war, swimming, basketball (streetball), track and field athletics (race), shooting with air gun, bowling, backgammon, petanque and beach wrestling.
The prizes in the complex ranking were handed to the winners by Mr. Plamen Dimitrov – President of CITUB and Mr. Georgi Petrov – President of the National Federation of Power engineers.
The first price in the final complex ranking was won by the team of NPP Kozloduy with 154 points, followed by the team of ESO Ltd. with 83 points and EVN – Bulgaria with 68 points. The complex fairplay cup was won by the team of NEK PLC.
