The Seventh National Field Event of the employees in the Water Supply and Drainage System sector was held in Albena resort between September 8th and September 12th, 2010. The Field Event was organized by Bulgarian Workers' Federation "Labor, sport and health" together with the Union of the employers in the Water Supply and Drainage System sector in Republic of Bulgaria, Federation ”Building, industry and water supply” - ”Podkrepa”, National branch syndicate "Water supplier" - CITUB. Mrs. Ekaterina Zaharieva, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, and Mrs. Ivelina Vassileva, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Water, attended the opening ceremony.
850 persons from 40 organizations participated in the field event and competed in 6 kinds of sports - mini football, darts, beach volleyball, table tennis, chess and tug of war. The first place in the final complex ranking was taken by the team of Water Supply and Drainage System - Varna with 81 points, followed by the teams of Sofia Water PLC with 61 points and Water Supply and Dranage System – Kardjali with 42 points.
