Fifth National Workers' Field Event of the employees in the Water Supply and Draining System sector
The Fifth National Workers’ Field Event of the employees in the Water Supply and Draining System sector was held from September 10 th to September 14 th, 2008 in seaside resort Albena. More than 750 people from 37 companies took part in the sport competitions, participating in 6 kinds of sports – mini football, darts, beach volleyball, table tennis, chess and tug of war.
The Field Event was opened by Mr. Angel Prestoiski, President of the Union of the employers in the Water Supply and Drainage System sector in Bulgaria. Among the official guests of the event were the presidents of the syndicates of the Water Supply and Drainage System from CITUB and Labour Confederation Podkrepa, as well as many directors of companies in the Water Supply and Drainage System sector from all over the country.
The first place in the complex ranking was taken by Water Supply and Drainage System Varna with 85 points, followed by Sofyiska Voda PLC with 46 points and Water Supply and Drainage System Veliko Tarnovo with 42 points. The Fair Play Cup was won by the team of Water Supply and Drainage System Veliko Tarnovo.
