The Eighth National Field Event of power engineers, which was organized by Bulgarian Workers Federation Labor, sport and health and the National Federation of  Power Engineers, took place in Albena resort between September 15th and September 19th, 2010. More than 900 persons from 19 organizations participated in the field event and competed in 17 kinds of sports football, mini football, volleyball, beach volleyball, table tennis, chess, bridge, tennis, darts, tug of war, swimming, basketball, track and field athletics, shooting with air gun, bowling, sports backgammon and petanque. Mr. Marii Kosev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, attended the closing ceremony of the field event and personally awarded the champions in the complex ranking, as well as the winner of the fair play cup.

 

 

The first place in the final complex ranking was taken by the team of NPP Kozloduy with 166 points, followed by CEZ - Steam Power Plant Bulgaria with 101 and ESO Ltd with 83. The team of NEK PLC won the complex fairplay cup.
