Ninth Christmas mini-football tournament
Between December 9th and December 12th, 2010, the Ninth Christmas indoor mini-football tournament for the cup of the Confederation of the Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) was held in Blagoevgrad. The tournament was organized by Bulgarian Workers’ federation “Sport and health” and Amateur Football League of the Bulgarian Football Union with the cooperation of Regional Sports Club “Labor, sport and health” – Blagoevgrad. Eight teams participated in the tournament – Steam Power Plant Pernik, NPP Kozloduy, Rupite Municipality, Blagoevgrad, Maritsa-East 2 TPP, Poligraphy Info, Kyustendil and Select.
The first place was won by the team of Steam Power Plant Pernik, who won the final against NPP Kozloduy with a score 4:0. Best goal scorer of the tournament was Veselin Uzunov from Rupite Municipality, and Yordan Nyagolov from NPP Kozloduy was chosen for best goalkeeper.
