The Seventh Christmas indoor mini-football tournament for men and women was held in Blagoevgrad between December 11th and December 14th, 2008, under the patronage of Mr. Kostadin Paskalev, Mayor of the city. The tournament was organized by Bulgarian Workers' Federation “Labor, Sport and Health” and Regional Coordinate Council of CITUB – city of Blagoevgrad with the cooperation of the Amateur Football League of the Bulgarian Football Union. 13 men teams and 4 women teams participated in the tournament. For the first time there was international participation from Romania. The competitions took place in the new sports hall Skaptopara in Blagoevgrad. In the men’s competition the winner was the team of Pautalia (Kyustendil), followed by Steam Power Plant Pernik and NPP Kozloduy. The first place in the women’s competition was taken by the team of Sweet house Asya, followed by Dupnitza and NPP Kozloduy.
